Blog 5B: Science Fair Proposal

1. Teaching History
2. Children in schools learn less with standard book work, which many schools use in favor of Integrated Project Based Learning.-

3. If a student works in a high noise level environment, then their competence quantity will be less. (Not my final, or even remotely related, but what I could come up with at the time.)
4. I plan on working with my mentor to create two lesson plans, each with the goal of the same knowledge, but one rooted in PBL, while the other will be rooted in standard book work. After teaching the lesson, a test will be given to gauge the amount of knowledge retained from both methods.
5. Select one of the following Project Categories for your experiment:

Problem Statement

  1.  Teaching History
  2. Children do not absorb the Knowledge as well as they could due to the lesson not jumping off the page. What I could do is create a lesson plan that incorporates activities that keep the students actively learning, and actually absorbing the knowledge, sending the lesson plan to various schools or districts for their own use.
  3.  I do not have a second issue, but I do plan to ask my mentor tommorow when I meet up with her.
